podcasting
I did my podcasting on Gcast. So it didn’t take longer for me to find out that this website is completely useless to as, as they are no longer accepting new signups and will not be accepting new uploads after February 1, 2010. With that in mind I decided to start working with gabcast. The first thing I noticed is something saying to purchase minutes and it has a dollar sign, all I know is I’m not spending money on this website and not clicking on that button. When I click on create a channel it takes me to already available channels and there’s no where for me to click to make my own channel. Then the only way I can find to get back to my homepage is by retyping in my e-mail and password, which is really annoying. I spent about 45 minutes on this website and couldn’t find out how to do almost anything on it. It’s extremely had to navigate and when you are on your homepage and click on a tab it doesn’t always take you where it says its going to and then the tabs change making you have to re-sing in to get back to your homepage. I would not suggest this website to anybody, I’m sure there are easier podcasting websites out there.

Hi Will. Try using Yodio. It has a video introduction and lots of examples to look at as well as step by step instructions if needed. It's tabs are pretty easy to follow as well. The only potentially strange thing that I noticed so far is that you have to call in your voice recordings. In the end, it seems that most of the podcasting sites have that setup so I guess it's actually pretty common. Regardless, it was a smooth go for me with that site. You just need a picture or two... or they even offer stock photos. Good luck, I look forward to seeing your creation.
