Hello to all, my name is William Tracy, but I go by Will. As the title says this is my fist blog, first time writing one, reading one, or even going to a blog website. I always told myself blogs were dumb and I wasn’t going to make one, but I kind of have to for an online class im taking in collage. So yea here I am. I was happy to find creating the blog was easy, yet customizable. I also liked the fact that the website gave me an URL instead of making me guess whats been used and whats not been used. To the other students in my class I would say don’t spend much time creating your blog, save your energy for customizing it afterwards.

- I graduated Triton Central High School in 06 and now go to IUPUI for elementary education. I’ve been told many times that being a teacher doesn’t pay well but I learned at an early age that money doesn’t bring happiness it makes the pain worse, id rather be happy and poor than rich and depressed. Well I really don’t know what ease there is to say lol.
Hi Will! I never thought of using a blog as technology to be used in the elementary classroom but after some thought, I've come up with a few ideas that might be worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to spend yesterday improving the customization of my blog but I got tied down with going out to breakfast, then to a "Pick a Puppy" event, and finally, the need to go shopping overcame me. It was just too hard to stay inside and work on the computer when the sun was out. Maybe this evening... we'll see, lol.

ReplyDeleteHi Will! I also have people telling me that teaching doesn't pay well. It makes me laugh when I hear this because everyone already knows you don't go into it for the money. It's great to know that you are a person who chooses to do something you care about vs. just for the money. Good luck with your classes this summer.
